CEGAANA 2026 Board Elections: Announcement & Call for Nominations
Dear CEGAANA members,
The CEGAANA Board of Directors is pleased to announce the 2026 elections for open board seats. We have six open board seats (out of 11) coming up soon and invite CEGAANA members to elect the six members through an online election process.
Each board member is elected for a term of three years starting November 1st, 2026. Please refer to the official CEGAANA by-laws for board member responsibilities and governance provisions. After the new board members are elected, the full 11-member board will internally elect executive officers for open leadership roles.
📋 Qualifications for Voting
- Must be a member of CEGAANA, registered at members.cegaana.org.
- Must reside in North American countries (USA or Canada).
The board has validated members eligible for voting based on the above two criteria. Validated members receive an email inviting them to join the election process via a secure online voting portal.
🌟 Qualifications for Candidates
- Must be an active registered member on members.cegaana.org.
- Must have resided in North America for the majority of the past year.
- Must plan to reside in North America for a majority of each year of board membership.
- Must provide two CEGAANA members as references in the nomination form.
The CEGAANA Board and Election Committee will validate all submissions and finalize the official slate of nominees standing for election.

For self-nomination, please see the email with your personalized token sent to your registered address. In case you have not received the nomination email by September 30, 2026, please reach out to info@cegaana.org for immediate assistance.

| October 17, 2026 | Voter Registration Cutoff & Ballot Delivery: Last date to register on members.cegaana.org for voting eligibility. Validated members receive their secure electronic ballot link. |
| October 17 – 23, 2026 | Online Voting Window: Voting opens October 17, 2026 and closes October 23, 2026 at 11:59 PM PDT. |
| October 25, 2026 | Results Announcement: Official certified election results announced to the general membership. |
| November 1, 2026 | Term Commences: Newly elected board members begin their 3-year term (2026–2029). |
